Special Note: These recordings
were made by Sp4 Gerald Felker, a band trombonist in the 1983
concert, using only a small Sony Walkman with its built-in mike.
The audio quality, thanks in part to computer enhancement in
2007, is surprisingly good. Today (in 2007) Dr. Felker, with
a Ph.D. in musical arts, lives in Farmingdale, Long Island, NY,
and is a high school band director and professional trombonist. |
