Above weapons were on display by U.S. 7th Army and V Corps
units in support of the 3AD's coordination of the Presidential
visit to Fliegerhorst Kaserne and Hanau Army Airfield on 6/25/63.
This photo (with text added by Website Staff), probably as
well as any other single photo, epitomizes the precarious tightrope
that the U.S.A. and the Soviet Union were walking at that stage
of the Cold War.
