The above photos are from "Observation Point
#19" at Hohenfels in the summer of 1965. The 3/36 Inf was
combined with other 1st Brigade units (armor, artillery, air,
etc.) for a major weapons demonstration. The above Huey UH-1B
may be that of Maj. Gen. Kerwin, Division Commander, who flew
in twice to check things out. |
