Above photo shows Mischnick at
Camp Polk, LA, in June, 1942, where a 4x5 Speed Graphic camera
was the standard. At the time he was assigned to Headquarters
Company, 23rd Armored Engineers Battalion, 3AD. But in combat
and other situations in 1944-45, Mischnick also used a 35mm. |
