Of interest: The headstone's
"Korea" inscription is assumed to be the result of
Pool being on one of the 3rd Armored Division armor instruction
teams from Ft. Knox that was involved in training tankers on
location in Korea, during and after the Korean War. Those teams
are an area of 3AD history that remains most obscure. |
