Photos below: More than fifty pieces of World
War II memorabilia were assembled in the storefront window of
Meeting House Opticians, directly beneath the apartment where
Gen. Rose was born 103 years earlier. The display, which would
remain for two months after the Dedication, was laid out by Meeting
House owner Jeff Fine. Most of the items were loaned by collector
Andrew Knapp of Redding, CT, with additional contributions from
Fine and the 3rd Armored Div. PIO. |
