Gen. Rose's parents mourn his loss

caption: "Their General son was shot to death east of the
Rhine by a German tankman, and yesterday Rabbi and Mrs. Samuel
Rose posed with his portrait in their home at Denver, Colo. Rabbi
Rose, 89, said his son, Maj. Gen. Maurice Rose, commander of
the 3rd Armored Division of the First Army, died for 'all peoples.'" |
