This is the first photo of a series of aerial
views of the area, taken in March, 2004. Plainly indicated are
Rose Point and the key intersection where the General's jeep
entered the main road. More graphic reference points will
be added to this series in the near future, to also include
the movement of Task Force Welborn. In referring to the Map of
Battle Area, please keep in mind that the jeep traveled considerably
further from the intersection than indicated on the map, which
was not intended to show true scale. |
