ABOVE: Our special thanks to Sylvia Karasu,
M.D., of N.Y.C., daughter of the late Moses Rabson (3AD WWII,
Capt., Combat Surgeon) for sending this very rare 36th A.I.R.
operations map (1944-45). In March, 2012, Dr. Karasu went so
far as to have the nearly pristine original (35-inches wide)
professionally scanned at high resolution so that we could have
a full-size version for use on our website. The above image in
only a tiny reduced version to fit on this page. Click above
