(1) Ft. Dix, 1966, a pond next to billets. Two officers walked by during this shoot, and shook their heads in disbelief, but said nothing.

(2) 1965 VW Beetle. Highest clocked speed on the Autobahn was 94 mph, even with the handicap of a severe shimmy.

(3) In full PIO combat mode, chasing an infantry squad at Wildflecken in 1968. Photo by Jim Cole (Stars & Stripes).

(4) In 1968, photographing members of last German Army unit still wearing the WWII helmet, an "elite" regiment assigned to the border with East Germany in the Kassel area. The occasion was a Kassel music festival in which the 3rd Armored Div. marching band took part. Photo by Michael Fredericks.

(5) In 1999, beside WWII B-17 bomber that he has flown in several times as a volunteer photographer for the National Warplane Museum (NY). Photo by crew chief Todd Northrop.
