NOTES: Simulator is contained in 55-gallon
steel drum. "Sound Unit" is presumably a special separate
pyrotechnic charge designed to create extremely loud detonation
sound. With the above size unit, observers are to remain no closer
than 450 feet to point of detonation. This design supersedes
information contained in TM dated December, 1983. |
